A lot of things have been happening since 2019. This affected the Keeping Kurrent show too. The primary offices moved to the Clackamas County Urban Community called Oak Grove. It’s an unincorporated community within Clackamas County. Oak Grove Community Council members have joined with some from Jenning’s Lodge Urban Community to study possible future governance. Gigi Pandian has provided me with lots of good reading entertainment over the years. One of first of her books that I read was the “Accidental Alchemist.” She continues to write new editions of the Alchemist stories about the Alchemist Zoe Faust. The story takes place in Portland, Oregon. Faust’s boyfriend is going to open a tea shop on SE Hawthorne, however, a fire starts before the store can open damaging significant portions of the store. While Zoe investigates the fire and theft of some tea a murder takes place. Will Zoe using her alchemy skills and her sidekick, Dorian, be able to solve the crime?
