During March 2005, Wayne and his wife, Pam Brown, in St. Kilda, which just south of Melbourne, Australia. This is a picture taken in front Cafe 97," a restaurant along Fitzroy Street. It reminded us a lot of NW Portland. It was busy, sunny, and delightful. A young woman offered to take our picture as we at our lunch here. M-m-m was that a good lunch. Wayne and Pam plan on taking more trips and meeting more people along the way. We hope that you'll enjoy meeting them.
Here's the latest trip on the Oregon Coast Explorer. The host, Wayne Potter, is joined by Kay and Bob (sitting). Bob is a train enthusiast and Kay supports his efforts. He recalls (on the Tillamook RR program aired on October 10th) that he went on a different but similar train over this same route a number of years back. You meet a lot of nice people on trains no matter where you travel.
