Mission

Document and make available information about current ideas, issues, and trends that affect individual lives. The issues, ideas and trends are examined in reasonable depth rather than in brief news bits. Programs are made available to individuals who may not have the time, the financial or the physical ability to personally attend events, meet community leaders, attend literary readings or theater, nor participate in public meetings.

 

Vision

• Provide a forum for discussion of experiences, accomplishments, and concerns about ideas, issues and trends.
• Produce up to 52 weekly Keeping Kurrent shows annually distributed through OMNI Media Network.
• Place audio recordings on the Keeping Kurrent web site.
• Promote the mission and objectives of non-profit and educational organizations through interviews and the development of Public Service Announcements.
• Provide audio recordings to commercial, community radio and web based stations in Oregon and the Pacific Northwest.
• Network with government agencies, educational institutions, non-profits, commercial corporations and other organizations.
• Promote the use of web based radio programs.
