This river, the Nenana river, is located immediately adjacent to Denali National Park and Preserve and passes by the McKinley Village where the Host had an overnight stay. The river is glacier fed. There was a sign saying that a Grizzly bear had recently been seen immediately by this property. This river is beautiful and the area is dangerous..

There are a lot of things to learn about the world's people. Sometimes this requires knowing a little language but on some occassions you get by on the English language. Tokyo was one such city. People there are quite helpful. Whenever we looked a little lost, especially at train stations, someone would come by and ask us if we needed some help. We deeply appreciated their help.

Tokyo, Japan - Meiji Temple

During the last week of May 2008 the show's Host, Wayne Potter and lhis wife, Pamela Brown, along with their daughter, Margret Brown, flew to Tokyo for a week. We were really busy. While visiting the Meiji Temple we came across these saki barrels which were blessed by the Temple priests. There were 3 or 4 of these shelf units. There will be more about this visit in the fall of 2008. Check out the Audio Program page.
